Remember how scared you were when you saw T-Rex about to tear apart the scared-as-hell chauffeur in the Spielberg classic "Jurassic Park". For all the Dino-mania, there's now a PC version of a game that lets you puncture that scary pair of eyes and break that super-deadly set of canines.

Touchstone has announced that "Turok," their dinosaur-hunting game, is now available for the PC in North America. Until now, it was only available on the Xbox and PS3. Incidentally, the PC version was slated for release earlier but got delayed.

The game owes its name to Joseph Turok, its protagonist. It is set on a dark, mysterious planet in the distant future. Turok, a former black ops commando, now part of an elite special forces squad 'Whiskey Company', is hunting his former mentor Roland Kane, mercenaries, and of course, dinosaurs. The game is developed by Propaganda Games and optimized for the PC by Aspyr Studios. It provides immersive single player action plus multiplayer action for up to 16 players. The downloadable 'Velociraptor Pack', featuring five new multi-player maps for the console versions, will also be available for Windows PCs soon.

The PC version is retailing for approximately $50 while the console versions cost 10 dollars more i.e. approx $60.
