Today, Asus launched their GeForce 8800GT with the whoopy 1GB built-in Memory…. Asus is now first company who launched 8800GT Model in 1GB memory. There was not any GeForce 8800GT 1GB ever, that’s enough to prove that Asus did it first..
It runs at the same speeds as the regular 8800 GT (600MHz core, 900MHz memory), but Asus says the extra RAM helps it achieve a 10% higher score in 3DMark06. The EN8800GT/HTDP/1G is outfitted with a special “Glaciator Fansink” cooler, too. Asus claims this cooler keeps temperatures 7°C lower than the stock 8800 GT fan and heatsink while producing less noise.
